1989 Symposium Recordings
Vancouver Co-op Radio’s lunchtime program, Brown Bagger, aired from 1982-1992. It featured talks, interviews, and panel discussions by and with theorists, academics, writers, and activists. The series time slot brought these valuable conversations to students and workers with day jobs. The 1989 In Visible Colours symposium panels were recorded and aired by Brown Bagger. Fortunately, 12 audio reels featuring select panels were donated to the City of Vancouver Archives as part of 834 recordings made by the station over four decades.
