Videobag, a series developed during the directorship of Sheila Kincaid and organized by Gerry Gilbert and Video Inn’s Michael Goldberg, marked the inauguration of the Burnaby Art Gallery’s video collection. 14 tapes by Greater Vancouver artists were commissioned. Videobag featured screenings, video installation, performance art, workshops, and an exhibition of video images/images of video (Exchange the Subject) in which the public was invited to participate.

The Videobag Video Collection
For several decades the Videobag video collection resided at the Video Inn Library. In the late 2000s, the Burnaby Art Gallery requested its return to their archive. Sadly, the tapes were subsequently lost to mould. The following list are video copies of those shown at Videobag that are part of the VIVO archive. Contact library@vivomediaarts.com for current status.
