The Pacific Association of Artist Run Centres (PAARC) is a nonprofit organization that represents the collective interests and development of Artist-governed organizations based on the Unceded Indigenous territories known as British Columbia through advocacy initiatives, actions of solidarity, mutual accountability and resource-sharing. The PAARC fonds was held by the Western Front Society until September 20, 2019, when it was transferred to the Crista Dahl Media Library & Archives.
Scope and Content
The PAARC fonds is comprised of 3.81m of textual materials related to the business of the umbrella service organizations Pacific Association of Artist-Run Centres, Association of National Non-Profit Artists Centres/Regroupement d’artistes [ANNPAC/RACA], and the 2004 PAARC project InFest: International Artist-Run Culture.
